
In this 4-day, "all-in-one" ERCES training course, NICET prep, BDA Manufacturer Certification and General Radiotelephone Operator License will all be covered. This robust training will prepare you for installing and commissioning Emergency Responder Communication Enhancement Systems. By the end of the course, pending examination, you will have your GROL, BDA Manufacturer Certification and be prepared to complete your NICET level 1 and 2 exams.
Class attendance is limited to 20 people. A minimum of 10 attendees is required. If the minimum is not registered at least 2 weeks before the start of class, it will be canceled with no financial penalties accrued. Attendees will be notified via email if the class is canceled. Late cancellation (within 2 weeks of the start date) may result in a cancelation fee of $1000. Failure to be present for the start of the class without prior arrangements being made with the instructor may result in forfeiture of registration fees.
Days 1 and 2 will be from 8:00am to 5:00pm and will be conducted by Elkins Training Company. By the end of these 2 days, you will have the knowledge to pass your GROL exams for FCC elements 1, 3, and 8. Examinations for the GROL will be conducted by an official FCC designated examiner and, pending a passing grade, you will leave at the end of the week with a temporary General Radiotelephone Operator License in tow. Official copy to be sent via the FCC directly.
Days 3 and 4 will be from 8:00am to 4:00pm and include performing Rough Installation Activities, Performing Finish and Trim Out Installation Activities, Defining the Project Scope, Evaluating RF Signal Strength and Quality and Performing Commissioning, Acceptance Tests and System Maintenance. It will include Products offered by TowerIQ, BDA programming, ERCES wiring and design considerations. It will also focus on Manufacturer Certification for TowerIQ (a Potter Global Technologies Company) products.
